Silly Willy goes to Cape Town

When the George family go on holiday to Cape Town, Cautious Craig cannot believe what he has to endure at the hands of his naughty and wilful younger brother, Silly Willy. Willy throws tantrums at the most embarrassing and inappropriate times, causes a commotion on the aeroplane and tries to steal a chameleon from Butterfly World. What is a poor older brother expected to do in these situations?

This book includes instructions on how to make a number of fun people and creatures out of fondant as well as some no-fail recipes and instructions on how to make 5 different party cakes.

I always look forward to reading Robbie Cheadles latest books as soon as they are published and "Silly Willy goes to Capte Town" was no exception. The realistic situations of a naughty brother on holiday draw the readers in to the story, making one laugh along with vents as the unfold as well as sympathise with the poor parents. This read also provides a good view of holiday life in Cape Town, South Africa as it is. Coupled with Cheadles wonderful dough scenes for parents to interact with their child as they read the book, this is an excellent activity book for weekend and holidays.

Silly Willy goes to Cape Town
Every so often I dip into the world of children's fiction and I've yet to be disappointed! Ms Cheadle has delivered a tale that is funny and real and simply a delight to read. Cautious Craig tells the story of his holiday in Cape Town - all the fun things they did and experienced and how his younger brother Silly Willy causes chaos along the way. The recipes and fondant art creations round out a delicious book! Recommended for children able to read chapter books and anyone who enjoys an amusing tale.
